Empty World

Emptiness, empty mind,
empty sockets, no eyes,
empty mouth, empty voice,
muted by no choice,
Empty lungs, empty heart,
empty ribcage torn apart,
Empty hands, grasping nothing,
Empty air.
Empty child,
with empty hands,
empty house for an empty man,
empty house, encased by empty noise,
Emptiness for the empty family,
a child muted by an empty choice.

Is this poem of yours speaking of conformity as emptiness; I personally find conformity stifling at times. Your poem is certainly a cry for fullfilment instead of the emptiness that can fill lives. I like your poem a lot a good read and well written.
