Newfound silence,

Hatred faded away,

I shout aloud,

And I am comforted,

Comfort found in the echos.

This silence used to deafen me,

But now I’m no longer afraid,

I am free.

No longer bound,

Shackles and chains undone,

I sigh…

Contented to know,

That life goes on after you.
