So confused and lost,

Out of touch and low,

Perceptions altered somewhat,

By sadness and mistrust.

I don’t know what you want,

Or why I’m here at all,

A future grim and bleak,

Outcomes not preferable,

What is this mess?

This sad situation?

Don’t make me walk away,

Because I love you,

Do you love me too?

Do I want to know the answer,

I’ll try and do better,

But will you?
