Is often hard

Yet somewhat necessary

Unfortunate circumstance

Occasionally leads to

Amazing opportunity

To open your heart

And somewhat cynical

Mind.

To a magic feeling

Compared to no other

A dreamlike state

Where reality is a speck

In a distant land

Appreciate the irony

Of a good girl gone bad

And the story of life

Just gets better

And more interesting

As time uninterrupted

Moves on

And the tale that is

Euphoric

Never wanes

Never loses its magic.
