I know I don’t make it easy,

I don’t mean to make things hard,

I know I often say things,

That you can not disregard



I know I am a handful,

I know I shouldn’t be,

I also know that in the end,

You’ll still accept me for me.



I’m sorry I’m not all the things,

I know that I should be,

There are things about me you should know,

Things I wish that you could see.



I’m not as understanding,

I’m not always quite as fair,

But I want you to know that,

I will always be there.



I’m sorry if I hurt you,

I’m sorry in advance,

For all the wrongs I will do,

Before I get the chance.



I’m definitely not perfect,

I’m definitely not pure,

But I know I love you,

Of that at least, I’m sure.
