I wake up and you’re in my thoughts

I fall sleep and you’re on my brain

Why can’t I make you go away?

Why can’t I make this feeling wane?

All I really know is I want you

To be near me forever

Please don’t break my poor heart

And lord please don’t let these feelings sever

I want you, I need you

Just to be near me

Hold me tight and never let go

And with your touch, set me free

Float with me on the clouds

Just because you took me there

Just know that I care about you

And what I can of my heart, I’ll share
