Sitting here aimlessly

With only you on my mind

I never thought the love you give

I’d be able to find

You breathe life into me with every verb and vowel

You’ve kept my head above water

When I was ready to throw in the towel

You’ve made my life easy-

You supply an escape

You’ve created my identity

And gotten my mind in shape

For these things, I appreciate you

Without you there’s no me

I write this short thank you
