An angel floating by,

His lips touched mine.

I didn’t realize what had happened

Until my heart began to skip.

I know he loves me,

This I know is true.

For when the angel flew by

His lips touched mine.

He says he needs some time,

I am waiting for the day,

The day he says he trusts me

The day he says he loves me.

The day the angel will fly by,

And again his lips will touch mine.

I wonder if he’ll acknowledge

What had happened on this night.

The night the angel flew by,

The night his lips touched mine.

My heart began to soar,

Adrenaline overcame me.

The feelings of anger left

The moment the angel flew by.

Angel, Angel in the night

Spread your wings,

And keep us safe.

Keep our love from disappearing

And let us fly together forever

In the night.
