A Love Poem for Mark

Can you see my love

flow from my heart

in ripples and in waves

to meet the shore of yours?

 

I want you to feel it

from my soft lips

like warm wind carrying gentle rain

to lightly shower you with kisses

 

Please hear I love you

from this mouth each day

see it in my eyes

those times "words cannot express ...."

 

Mark, please know

and always know

I've loved you, I love you

and I'll love you 'til I die

 

Author's Notes/Comments: 

One day, I met Mark, a guy from my hometown and high school.  I was sure Mark was the one I'd been waiting for.  I said good-by to Kon forever.  Mark and I stayed married ten years. We had three sons together.
