LOVE CONTROLS ME

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

You send me out of control.

I have no idea what is the goal.

When I am with you, around I roll.

Chasing cereal around in a bowl.

A spaceship sucked into a black hole.

           Love controls me.

I am lost and will never be found.

            I make a distress sound.

The chaos and confusion piles up in a mound.

Into the unknown is where I am bound.

             Love controls me.

My head feels as hard as a rock.

           I can not talk.

           I cannot walk.

I can only, like a chicken, squak.

              Love controls me.

You tried to knock me down, so I would fall.

You threw me off a building tall.

         I fall and fall.

         For help I cannot call.

I am walking down a long, long, hall.

              Love controls me.

You drive me up the wall.

You run me over with a bowling ball.

You hit me on the head with a wrecking ball.

In the middle of an intense sale at the mall.

                Love controls me.

You shot me with a gun.

           No, it was not fun.

I was burned by the sun.

You put me in a craze.

I am lost in a gigantic maze.

                 Oh, love controls me.

                 Yeah, love controls me.
