         Maybe.

         Maybe it would be better if we WERE all the same.

         Maybe it would be better.



         An exhibit at my Museum tried to point out, that

         we are more alike than different.



  We all say that we are all different.  We do.

  We all say that it is good that we are all different.

  We all say that it is ok.  We do.

  We all say that it is ok and good that we are all different.

         We do.



         The thing is, is that just something we say?

         Is it?

         Do we really mean it?  

         Do we?

         Maybe.



         We get angry at each other, because we are different.

         Black, White, Palestinian, Israeli, and more.

         Throughout history, differences have caused hate.

         Why.

         Differences scare us.  They do.

         Differences seperate us.  They do.



         Differences are supposed to bring us closer.

         Sometimes, they do.

         Sometimes, they pull us apart.

         Maybe.

         It would be better if we were all the same.

         Maybe.
