I want to detail my view of what makes America, at core, so desiring and the realization that it's not, once you understand what it takes to achieve this grand status. Lives lost in vain, Actions monitored, A feeling of an old king gone mad with power and paranoia and the looming fear of a changing of the guard. I want these poems to reflect our power and ego gone wrong, but with a touch of us in it. The people living and breathing it.
