Poems In Memory Of 9-11-01 This gut-wrenching,
soul twisting,
heart breaking
ache,
is what's
left behind
in 9/11's wake.
This un-ending,
un-easing,
unbearable
sorrow,
is with me
since then
and will
still be
tomorrow.
These horrible,
frightening,
painful
flashbacks,
have been
in my mind
since
the day
of the attacks.
These flowing,
cascading,
never ceasing
tears,
shall fall
in my heart
for all
of my years.
