They Don't Hear Me Crying

Folder:
Soul Poetry

All alone in my room,

when no one else is around,

they don't hear me crying,

when sobs utter no sound.

Buried into my pillow,

very late at night.

They don't hear me crying,

my tears are out of sight.

Pain etches across my face

every single day.

But they don't hear me crying,

if no one looks my way.

Screaming inside my soul,

a deep and gutteral wail.

But they don't hear me crying

if they never listen to my tale.
