Spring Mourns Not

Folder:
Wildlife/Nature

Spring mourns not,

winter's demise.

It does not grieve

nor eulogize.

It gleefully bursts

onto the scene,

changing the brown

back to the green.

Winter lie dormant,

cold in its grave.

Nature no longer

chained as its slave.

No, Spring mourns not

the beastly chill.

Instead it welcomes the pansy

and the daffodil.
