we tend to carefully tread.
Avoiding heated confrontations
by ignoring harsh words said.
Playing a docile role
and always working towards a truce
sometimes makes you a victim
by taking other's abuse.
The path of least resistance
isn't always the smartest direction.
It can get you lost in misery
and lead you to rejection.
