The smallest things change your world

I bought some pink tulips

at the grocery store

and no one there

could see my smile

under my mask

but there they lay in my shopping cart

as I drove it fastly past

the patrons

observing the 2 metre distance

as the lines were cleary marked on the floor

At eight dollars a bunch

who could say no

or pass these cheery buds by

as they began to grow

allowing one to indulge the belief

that today's toughest decsion

would be choosing between

blush white, fuchsia and mauve
