Joy Comes in the Mourning

JOY COMES IN THE MOURNING

Joy comes in the mourning

………………as odd as that may seem,

The pain today just whets the taste,

……………..for when we reach our dream.

We fight,

………….we wrestle in the grasp,

…………………………….of what we wish we’d see,

But joy comes after mourning,

………………..…………when we let what is,

………………………………………………just be.

An early poem, simple but meaningful at the time.
