Unmasked

In darkness you might find my presence

A shiny thing left for you to discover

May you never find there's no more to uncover

Now as light removes all pretence of darkness

Only shadows of the living shall remain

Our mighty ego crumbles to dust

Nothing to fill all the hollow spaces

Except that which is discolored by my stain

I really like this poem. Very intelligent poetry here in Unmasked. secretive, but revealing. Mysterious, and dark. Very well-written.
