Darling

Storm clouds rest on the horizon of her cheeks

Wind rustles her golden locks

wrapping warmth around the glow of her complexion

The glowing face of a mermaid

Centered in the storm she created within me

A sailor lost in her storm...

and happily so...

I jump from my ship of lonliness to drown in her eyes

To remain eternally in the waves of her love

I drift while her whirlpool pulls me under

One kiss and i spin...

Pulled down...swallowed whole

At oceans bottom...

I am at heavens highest peak...

to live forevermore in my angels arms

In surrendering to her beauty

I give all of myself

In the hope that she will allow me to drown within those eyes...

within that soul

That she may allow me to touch that golden hair

and kiss those lips...

In drowning me, she has made me whole

May I always consume all that is her...

and may she always drown me with her kiss.

The glowing face of a mermaid

Centered in the storm she created within me

A sailor lost in her storm...

and happily so...

I jump from my ship of lonliness to drown in her eyes

Author's Notes/Comments:

8~12~2002 I was asked to write this for someone to give to his girlfriend. I was asked online and had never met the guy or the girl, but this is what I came up with. Anyway, he did tell me that her name was Sharee, which I was told means "beloved" or "darling" (hence the title)Anyway, I tried, I hope she liked it. :)
