A Day

1970



The look of a cool blue sky -

The feel of a warm summer breeze -

A man with his woman to Love.

The setting sun in the sky above -

That feeling they share - so calm and free.



The sound of children playing -

Trees gently swaying with the breeze

Happiness and joy all around.

A feeling of good comes upon them.

There could be no better way,

For two people in love to spend a day.

As we lay here in the sun__

So in love and having fun__

We laugh and we talk

We hold hands as we walk__

Our love is good__growing better with time

My heart is his; his love is mine.
