I dreamt I met the Queen of clowns

and saw that she was looking down

so i cheered her up by

dancing in the water colored hall

and all these dreams I dream

I dreamt I woke in southern Spain

with a runny nose and a different name

just how I got there

I really can't recall

lucid dreams of tambourines neath a crystal chandelier

putrid dreams of a silver studded pistol now appear

held firmly  in the hand of a courageous man

who is blind but willing to leap

immune to the fact that the odds are all stacked

against him in dreams of his defeat



I dreamt Monet painted me

in midnight blue and kiwi green

I took the portrait

and I hung it on my wall

and all these dreams I dream

tainted dreams of Wu Zetian interrupting the Tang

I dreamt I ended Kruschev's reign

but with the glory came the pain

how quickly I was blamed

for Russia's fall
