Reflection

Her heart was leaking
Down her face
Emotions that she couldn't trace

She looked upon
Her former self
A blurred and bleeding outer shell

She touched her face
And pressed the glass
A fragile soul that wouldn't last

A dripping blade
Gripped in hands,
One more slice and she'd be damned

She peers through salt,
Mesmerized,
Pain and beauty in her eyes

Her nails drag down,
Smearing red
Crimson handprints dripping wet

"Goodbye, love..."
Kisses cold
Reflection fades and drops the note
