Thing change?
Of course they do.
Even things in your presence
not observed by you.
and changing THINGS
change you too.
You nod your head,
of course it's true.
An event is bent
and shaped by the EYE.
but the EYE can't see that
to which it is blind.
And much of US
is left behind.
Tick marks and shadows
the cruel and the kind.
In change we are changing
the change we define.
Do you see the change
in the EYE of your mind?
Do I change? Yes I do,

Is always the same change inside me.

Sometimes I wonder if I come
Sometimes I wonder if I come across as (monkey) clever.
Change

A bird molts leaving behind
little bits of itself as if to stay
the same would be an affront
to nature or God.
.
Babies grow teeth then shed them
to demonstrate the evidence
of changing status from sucking
to chewing. There's a plan.

Change for the sake of change
has value if the eye is atuned
to see a twisted view, but change
as a vehicle for renewal
and growth, well, owns its own
need to amaze and obscure,
twist and befuddle.
