Story of a girl

She walked in the room and found her mom crying

at first she didn't understand

but as years past by she learned

that the tears were caused by a certain man

She felt an enormous pain

by seeing her mom cry

she spend a lot of hours

contemplating and wondering why

a young innocent girl

barely 7 years old

already had terrible memories

that would make her grow cold.

She grabbed the rope

hanging outside on a hook

she decided to end it all

she couldn't handle the turns life took

she cried all the way to the woods

trying to forget all the different things people said

but no matter how hard she tried

she couldn't get them out of her head

she tied the rope around her neck

and stepped off the stone she was standing on

life brought her down

she didn't have the will to carry on

she was only 15 of age

and she tried to end her fight

but fate wanted it otherwise

so she returned home that cold winter night

She turned 17 and her mom past away

she lost the one she loved the most

she felt so helpless and alone

the memories started to haunt her again like a ghost

she started to cut herself

to forget all the pain she had locked up inside

she locked the door to her heart

she wanted to disappear she wanted to hide

she was suicidal and depressed

and she was send to a phychologist who tried to help

her friends tried to do their best to be there for her

but how could they do that when they didn't know how she felt

The girl started to draw and write poems

to help her ease her mind

she still wanted to know why

but the answer to that question she won't find

She still sits in the darkness every night

staring into the silent air

wondering where her childhood went

and what she's still doing here

Things have changed a lot for her

and she has gotten older, she's now 21

and because of all the challenges in life

she has learned to get by and be strong

But I still remember it all!!!!!
