Wounded Soldier,

Wander Lone

As You roam

In search of Reason



Torn away from

Heart and home

Life has shown

You love and treason



Lift thine eyes as they are faded

War has left you cold and jaded

As This life now dies, rebirth begins



With these rains from heavenly skies

Wash the pain from out your eyes

And break the chains of apathy within



As the road strays

From the hollow

Turn and leave the bitter sorrow

With the blood of ancient wounds

behind you



Fill the void t?was

Meant to swallow

So that he may, on the morrow

Cross the barren wastelands we

Once knew.



Strength renewed has cleared the way

Nothing in the path can stay

The heart, The Mind, The passion, or the fire



From your heart, the light shines true

Love reveals the way to you;

Lost completeness, all my life?s desire



As the soldier - travels on

Day is broken,

Dusk to dawn,

Merrily he whistles as he goes.



Life is found ? as is reason

Inbetwixt the

bitter seasons

Fueling him with strength that no one knows.



Though his journey - lingers still,

Nothing slows him

Or his will

The power of this perfection feeds his soul.
