Jingle in the Jungle

The babbling stream stumbling over bumpy rocks
I stood in its cool silence casting off my socks
Gaze lazily upwards -- my thoughts are vacant
Where has my life ended up in- A world so scant
Bewildered Devils abound lost in the bustling cacophony
Their smiles aren't true - their looks appear phony
Me ! an ignorant Fool bend down to pick up a small, cold pebble
Wet,muddy- but true.. its looks does not deceive
The azure sky above is true- not a make believe
Wandering aimlessly through the labyrinths and mazes
I feel a mite happy when my sick soul embraces
Embraces the heavenly wafts of cool wet air
I am excited as the rain drizzles on my stressed hair
The stream is unreal, the sky deceptive, rain & wind elusive
My existence in the concrete jungle becomes more evasive
Thoughts squirm in my brain's meandering chasms
I don't mind these worms.. I'll not part with them till my last spasms
