I took my wife to our bedroom,

I laid her on our bed,

I looked into her eyes,

But nothing was said.



I held her hand tightly,

And I didn’t let go,

I felt her heart beat,

Through her pressure point.



I gave her a big kiss,

And a smile came upon my face,

When I saw a little baby,

Our lives were filled with joy.



The doctor told us,

“You have a baby boy”,

My wife had told him,

His name is “Floyd”.



“November 11th 2060”,

“Floyd Brandon Jupes”

Is printed on his birth certificate.







I wish you were beside me,

To show me how love feels,

So I could write you love poems,

And tell you how I feel.
