Don't Look Down.

It is tricky up here

where the air is thin;

fingers loose feeling

from the cold as

one toe, one foot,

inching in front of the other.

Hold on tight,

and remember,

Don't Look Down,

I'm always here

and the mirror

in my hand

reflects

what others see.

Not Looking Down

cuz u said not to. The mirror reflecting is nicely placed in the poem, just where it should be, at the clencher spot. Nice write. Lady A

Greatly appreciated, Lady A!!! That means a lot to me! Wanted to pen something worthy and appropriate for that folder ;-)

You Suceeded

Lost Horizons is an old movie about climbers finding Shangri-La. This poem reminded me that I loved that movie, as a kid. If I saw it now, no fx, no dialog worth spit, I'd wonder what I saw in it. I will never have that problem with this poem - just reread and it is magic ~slc
