Stumbling through Nirvana

Folder:
Flashback Fridays

Life is harder than it has to be,
otherwise it wouldn't be life
as we know it, but nirvana,
or some other illusion,
always just beyond our grasp;
but your lapse and my fall
have us stumbling
into mutual salvation,
or at least through some brief dream
of how things might have been,
and, perhaps, that is enough.

some would call that a good

some would call that a good fuck while others yet would call it killing loneliness, I love how you call it a "brief dream of how things might have been"

"Gaze into my crystal ball and the mysterious future shall be revealed" is what she said. She took my $5 and all I saw was my own reflection...

Thanks & love you Dear ;-)

Illusions just beyond our

Illusions just beyond our grasp... Yeah you certainly call it well! Perhaps it is enough, but I haven't had my fill yet! Great write! One question is it my or may fall? Love this HugSS

Thanks Dear! It's "my fall". This was one that I missed the button one, but thatart was correct, if a little convoluted. I don't think the religious aspect was sufficiently clear, but my attempts at expanding on it clunked up the poem, and leaving it out left a gaping void, so I opted for the obscure reference ;-)

Your lapse and my fall is fine

Nice image - HAVE combines and unites the poem's theme of stumbling haphazzard into Nirvana that may be illusive or illusion...nice balance of ideas - Lady A
