On becoming a blind man

Folder:
Skipping Stones

I was going

to write a poem

about a scar,

but I couldn't

decide

which one

was worth

the effort.

Exceptional Outcome

Then, of course, there is the challenge of what kind of scar: emotional, mental, physical, those inflicted? Intriguing idea - but kinda saddening, morbid as a remembrance of pain. They are all worthy but best kept healed/hidden hmmmm... allets

Thanks Lady A! I heard it said the we are our scars, and the scars we leave. ;-)

Well Said

Wounds heal or kill you. The warrior is conditioned to kill and incurs emotional scars once the bullets stop flying and the bombs stop destroying. Separtion by death or permanent leaving of a loved one causes scars that last all lifetime. Withput wounds we are not admitted to full fledged members of scar prone humaness. Ass kicked, scramble up, hobble away to heal and come back for a rematch - life. Peace I wish you always ~Lady A~
