Butterfly's Last Flight

Spread your wings

Abstract neon colors

Thin, powerful

Take off and soar

Design of darkness

Swirls of the night

Move with grace

Take the last flight

Flip and flutter

Around in the air

Then drift to the ground

Wings cut and they tare

You're dying now

Flap one more time

Butterfly's last flight

And now you are mine

I enjoyed this poem, and it can be taken on many different levels beyond the life of just a singlular butterfly. It reminds me of the song Butterfly by Tapping the Vein

This is so sad it reminds me when i was in 6th grade we tagged Butterflies we raised them from Catapillers and watched them grow up, Some died and others lived. This poem just shows your unique style of writing
