I think it's time we discussed

all of this grime, and all the rust

I've allowed to accumulate

upon my once soft, tender heart.

My response to temptation

is the cause of this division

between us.  I turn from my sin,

seeking only intimacy

with You, Jesus. Please help me

to find my way back to Thee,

for this is my sincere prayer.

Oh, Lord, please hear my cry

of repentance.  Lord will you cleanse

me of all of this grime, and all the rust?
