Thy peace
does not cease
to comfort me,
as You set me free
from all the sin
whose slave I’ve been.
Thy peace
does not cease
to caress my heart
and keep me from falling apart
in the midst of all the turmoil
that seeks to bring me to a boil.
Thy peace
does not cease
to cool the heated waters
of life, and remind me of the Potters
loving hands which mold me.
Oh, how You shame me, continuously.
All things work together
to make me a better
follower of Thee.
Thy love for me,
and Thy peace
do not cease
