Before you read this poem, I kindly ask you to play along and solve a puzzle I hid inside it. Find the Accrostics within the poem.

Envy is the thing that makes your joy ebb,
noticing someone has that which you desire.
Victory is essentially denying yourself
Your desires so you can treat others as you oughta.
Vanity desires everyone else to feel

Instictively projecting rigorous confidence,
neverending selfish egotism. 'Tis not about luv.
Idolotry is finding something else
divine when it is truly worldlier.
Oh, how vain it is when my
love for earthly me becomes cultic.
Lust is seeing someone else as though
unrealized desires is their reason for
staying so neatly in your life. Why I
think I selfishly objectifying others makes a mess.
Selfish pride thinks, deceitfully that
everything I have done is so important, I
Lift up all that I have done as it is a
Fitting thing that others acknowledge my reknown.
