Lost my heart tonight (Poem formerly known as Untitled 82)

Folder:
2002

I can feel it like a raindrop touching my skin
Come back to the breaking of dawn
To see you run along the sand
It opens up to save us all
I feel you hold my hand

I can see it clear as you in the morning light
Come back to hide my soul
I see you smile upon the stars
They cry for me to come back home
Then I feel you kiss my scars

And then the black comes
Filling the page
Then the blood comes
Full of rage
And I drown

To good to be true
To wrong to be right
I thought I had control

To sweet to be sour
To dark to be bright
I Thought I had control
Lost my heart tonight

So sweet
So sweet
So gone

I feel it like I felt tomorrow
Closing hands upon my sorrow
So lost
So dry
But why

To good to be true
To wrong to be right
I thought I had control

To sweet to be sour
To dark to be bright
I thought I had control
Lost my heart tonight

I hear it echo like the wind of my dreams
Coming back to our reality
You run along the sand
I see the waves crash
And feel your hand

To good to be true
To wrong to be right
Thought I had control
Lost my heart tonight
