is she a ghost of yours?

well i guess we wasted time

and you're a ghost of mine

hidden inside my head

please don't believe I'm dead.

and i know you saw me here

now you're too scared to hide

you can take my hand

we'll take a look inside

regain your balance and perspective till you're happy again

the moment you forget me as your lame best friend

you could never hold in your mind what can come from a year

i know i don't need you now,

but i still wish you were here.

can't you feel it now

are you still scared to die

i know your heads messed up

i know you may even try

you must be four walls lost now.

as you lay on the floor

and i can see her now

is she a ghost of yours?

Sorry if I'm wrong. It sounds

Sorry if I'm wrong. It sounds like your best friend died and the memory of them became a ghost one you tried to help to the afterlife but if that was true I don't get the last stanza. Whatever the case may be this is an awesome intriguing poem, I read it at least six times trying to understand and I always love poems that make me think. Superb work, even if you don't think it's your best.

Long days and pleasant nights
