We are soldered together

Why must innocence
Bring out your evil
Why did I sense
Your wicked will?

The facade is bent
The illusion cracking
The curtain is rent
Your goodness lacking.

I WISH I WERE LYING!
That is was spiteful jest
My heart was blind
My sense potent

The facts were compelling
I could not shut my eyes
Your actions were telling
I could've cried.

The thought I loved you
I'm grateful but I knew better
How could I love what I hate?

The lust in your eyes
Your eagerness to dominate
They had not a thought
NOT A THOUGHT

The clues came together
Interlocking vertabrae
Instantly in my mind
The next day.

Does it really have to be this way?

I always wondered
Why I hated you
My heart didn't want
To understand
Why do you make me hate you?
Detest you, defy you
Desecrate you?

Now I know why
I can't stand for you to touch me.

I skimmed through a few of your works. I liked this one the best of what I saw.  Interesting flow excellent rhyme! The rhyming seemed natural and not too forced. It was a great write and I think I understand it. Good work!
