Red and Blue and Black and Green

Dark/Pain Poems

Red and blue and black and green
The light disappears before I can see
The mind plays tricks while I demand to be
Why do I live in a place where I was not meant to exist?

The morning knocks at the door and the night follows me
The clock races against my life while it laughs at me
The addiction of understanding is unfulfilled
However there isn’t a cup where that can be filled

We race against the clock in order to find meaning
I long for a shot of feeling and a state where I can be free
The womb made a mistake when she decided to deliver me
The shadows chase me, I hope I can escape from slavery

The seed of ignorance was planted on earth
Robots in flesh walk through the concrete streets
I hope the earth quickly receives me
Red and blue and black and green
