Majesty

Dream to discover a personal truth, a self-realization for the ages;

a quest for inner knowledge from the Mind’s Majestic Halls.

It is a chance for one’s soul to find a true meaning of existence.

A purpose, a reason,

so that it evolves beyond a dull and lifeless sphere of nothingness.

Many wish for such things,

but few dare take the risks for such a discovery.

For such a thing could be life-changing,

or it could be an exercise in insanity;

would you be able to lead such a quest into thy mind?

The room is cleared, the mood set;

the lights are dimmed, and music has begun to play.

The Journey is almost underway.

He who desires this trip be done sits on the bed,

completely encircled and encompassed by its sheets of silk,

and proceeds to close his eyes.

One drop, two, and three…

and the time has come.

Time crawls by at a snail’s pace;

seconds ooze along the frame of cosmic creation.

Anxiety grips your very core,

palms sweating from pervasive emotions of unknown origin.

Fingers twitch and piddle aimlessly as the waves of dizziness hit;

lights become ten times brighter,

and the auras begin to appear.

Colors stream all around;

what an exquisite world I’ve entered!

All life is shown as it truly exists,

in a sideshow of geometry and vibrating waves of energy.

Time has no meaning in skies of precipitating diamonds.

For hours, we journey in this strangely beautiful, yet familiar, land,

returning to baseline with a knowledge people desire:

Truth.

Well first off I like it. But since you love me I am going to critique it. The imagery is good but for me it kind starts in one place and just jumps to another and it doesnt make sense to me. I'm thinking the person has entered the world of acid but for most people they wont get that. It's good but not something for me. I love you and I hope you dont hate me.
