Bishwanath Mukerjee (Bishu)

 

 

I call him Bish, I call him my poetry pal across the big pond. "To know him is to love him is to know him" - who said that? It's from a movie. Humility personification is a lesson for all of us from this gentle spirit. We see through his eyes a world we try not to see where we live. Seven years on post poems, recently his work has taken a sharp escalation in style, presentation, and connectivity. We are enclosed by his images, his ideas are world class (and he would deny this and say I am unworthy and all that stuff we will never believe). Most worthy and beloved Bish, rest, prose a while, we will follow you to any space you cut into art. The moon, the planets, the universe, where you walk like you own the real estate, yeah, we will buy a ticket. May Postpoems always be seen by you as home.

Surprised Do you know what bish means in Bengali ? It means "poison" Laughing It's write time + Breakfast time .... May paste some rot in an hour or so... I must thank you for your wholehearted encouragement & time for this tiny creature .

Dear Poison Paster

Send us more verses gone off, Poison penner. We await the arrival of more of the stuff that makes a stamp a stamp, the "glue" which they say is nutritious. Apply the sticky gooey liberally for permanance. The corrupted with potions seas errupt, (U R a star perpetually about to go nova and spread special ink across the galaxies) the polluted stream is not barrier, it is a glass awaiting more drops of Biswanath - Lady A
