Well Deep

Folder:
Invisible Poetry

.

I knew a poet once who wrote well
and deep. It was not enough
to write it down for herself alone. It had
to be for the rest of us sent

from the depths.
.
This poet stopped writing deeply
and we were in anguish missing the words.
It is as if they should be echoing like a holler

down a rain barrel.

.
Perhaps it will rain soon and the words
will float to the top from the depth
of creativity to let us hear her again.

This is so amazing.

This is so amazing.

"It is a terrible thing to be so open. It is as if my heart put on a face and walked into the world" -- Sylvia Plath.

Thanks For The Read & Comment

Poets do not think more deeply than other people, we just express it better. (right?) This was fun to make and from the heart. :D - Lady A
