About Hands

Vintage Words

And if those hands

ever get to me

I will care for and take

them gently, hold them

until the monsters

go away or I will slay

them if I must.

But here, your hands

are welcome . No need

to pull away or take

them from me to another

space beyond here.

Receptivity, if you

lovingly desire,

is mandatory.

New Poet Poem

One of the new on site spoke of hands not being taken - I sent back welcome with open hands - we lose so many new writers (we are awesome) but you start and continue to grow over decades - we know, we did it with our hands at our sides or behind our backs, but eventually, like flower petals, we opened and dared to reach out - it's a life's work! Thanks for the read - allets -
