Colorado, near a drying namesake thirsts, lips sere, throat closed now heralds complicity in fewer wet distribution ground wells. Erasures begin with fire due for a one hundred year burn. Denver, high and empty, owns undergrowth measured in too much tonnage to scrape away. Recycled pine pieces will wince when deprived of their water. In concert, a moisture crisis entertains and welcomes burning, as potential as striking lightening or a match.
