The unavoidable

visits when least

wanted or invited

yet if fist-o-cuffs

occur, be ready.

If you are losing,

in blood and pain,

manuever them

wallward and hit

them with

the wall.

.

It is not

sportsman or

sportswoman like,

but it could

save your life.

.

At minum, a good

ass kicking avoided

has merit too. It

is not pretty,

suave or regulation,

but do hit them

in the head

with the wall.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

I was watching a fight on tv between a kung-fu dude and a woman and she threw him head-first into the wall. It's a good tactic when outmatched in a fight or any confrontation actually. Metaphorically works too :D

Survival

dictates different rules, in reality (if in an ally, the side of the building will serve) or whatever is nearest, kitchen sink, fireplace, door...metaphorically never let anyone trump your ace: in the words of those great Chinese kung fu movies of the sixties and seventies "Let's fight!" :D
