Nothing can compare to my sorrow and despair.

The night you went away, everything turned to grey.

The path that lay before me it was cold and very lonely

If you had only told me about your sadness and fears

I would have wiped away your tears.

I would have held your hand so tight and told you it would be alright.

Now my nights are left sleepless.

Please forgive me for my weakness.

I couldn't catch you when you fell, so here in the darkness I dwell.

I am waiting for the light, waiting for your smile so bright.
