Caught In A Memory

Being together with you

Was once being caught in a memory

Stuck in a room with no doors

Never able to break free.

The feeling of your kiss

Was once just a fantasy

Created by my tricky imagination

Whose potential and mischief is endless.

The idea of calling you

Was walled up in my chamber of secrets

Padlocked in a unbreakable safe

A thought hidden for all time.

But now that I have you

I want to live in the present

And never let you go

So I'm never caught in a memory.
