I crave to be held

In the arms of a man,

One who shows me pure love

Tender intentions are his plan

To walk gracefully

With me

In the midst

of pouring rain

Feel the potion

of his

flourishing love

Surging through my veins

I long to be embraced

In a lover's careful arms

My God-sent haven,

Gentle kiss on the cheek

A place where exists no harm

But then

I'm left to wonder...

Is a love like this for me?

I know it will never prosper

Should I not choose him carefully

There are more worthwhile things

Than loving a man:

Living life fully,

Following the Greater Plan

But if or when

I find him,

I will know

That it is right,

For we will both have travelled

The same trail of signs

I'll enjoy my time

Alone now,

For it's just a matter of time

That I cross paths

With the man I was made for,

When the stars perfectly align.
