Came the cry

Folder:
Reality

What she doesn’t know

What she doesn’t see

Breaking as I go

Turning away from me.

The weight

The weight

My mind cries

It has to be the weight

That’s why she began to overt her eyes

Your face

Your face

The mirror screams

It’s the single most thing

That’s out of place

And haunts her worst dreams

It has to be your face

That’s what she finds out of place.

Feed me

Feed me

My stomach cries

Yet something won’t let me

Even as it tears me up from inside

Feed me please

I need to eat.

Leave me

Leave me

My poor wrists beg

I won’t do good for you

Try using your leg

Leave me

It’s the scars that’s what she hates to see.

Kiss me

Kiss me

My eyes show her the plea

Yet nothing in return

From her eyes to me

Kiss me

I long to beg yet know only it would be a disgrace.

Notice me

Notice me

Comes my tears desire

Yet when she does it’s time for us to retire

Off to bed

As the cry rings inside my head

Notice me

Notice me.

Go die

Go die

The voices used to cry

Yet what they didn’t see when I would try

Go die

Go die

The kids would shout

When all I wanted was someone to hear me cry out.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This was actually written for Christa but I wanted to post it in my reality folder so that I could come back to it as something that states both how I feel and what is seen.
