i wrote this poem about somebody e-mailing a dirty joke and i sent it to somebody else in my family and they got mad.

I wrote this for my mom and my friend who is in the hospital and probably going to pass on to a better place very soon.

Let this become universal...

A conversation I had with God one night... I've always written down in my journal prayers to God or things that God had spoken to me about or put on my heart, but never thought of writing down an actual word for word conversation with God, but this time I did...

This converstion serves as a reminder, that I need to put my hope and trust in God and in His word and notmy feelings or circumstances, because feelings change and circumstances change... but God will never change. (Malachi 3:6 & Hebrews 13:8)

I actually got the idea for this poem from a couple of songs by an 80's Christian Hair Metal band called Stryper.  Even though they don't know it, they played a role in me accepting Jesus Christ, and this is my thanks to them, perhaps they will see it someday...

My dad's friend doesn't have an email address so he can't create a name on postpoems, so I'm creating his own folder so I can write some of his poems here like he wanted...
